“In the fulfillment of the routine maintenance program, it is announced that between the working days from October 9 to November 5 of this year, Lusoponte will carry out paving works on the 25 de Abril Bridge,” reads a notice published today in the Portuguese press.
The company managing the suspended construction of about two kilometers advises “the alternative use of the Vasco da Gama bridge”—of which it is also the concessionaire and also connects the southern and northern parts of Greater Lisbon—during nighttime on working days, between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM the following day.”
