
Warnings have been issued for the districts of Viseu, Leiria, and Coimbra from 9:00 to 15:00, in Viana do Castelo and Braga until 9:00, and in Porto and Aveiro until 12:00 due to potentially strong rainfall, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms.
The IPMA has also placed Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Braga under a yellow alert from 12:00 on Saturday to 00:00 on Sunday due to maritime agitation, with northwest waves expected to reach 4 to 4.5 meters.
The yellow alert is issued by the IPMA when there is a risk to certain activities dependent on meteorological conditions.
The IPMA forecasts generally very cloudy skies for the mainland today, with rain turning to showers, occasionally heavy on the coast north of Cabo Carvoeiro, stronger winds in the highlands and coastal strip, and a slight rise in temperature.
Minimum temperatures will range between 6 degrees Celsius (in Guarda) and 14 (in Lisbon, Setúbal, and Aveiro), with maximums between 10 degrees (in Guarda) and 22 (in Faro).
