
The Azores Civil Protection recorded 255 incidents without any injuries or personal harm reported following the passage of tropical cyclone Gabrielle, with 16 people being relocated, according to a final statement.
“The Regional Civil Protection and Fire Services of the Azores (SRPCBA) reports that a total of 255 incidents occurred, with no injuries or personal harm recorded,” the statement notes, with the majority of issues related to fallen trees, structural collapses, and roof damage.
Civil Protection further detailed that 16 people were relocated on the islands of Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, Faial, and Graciosa.
