Today’s operation at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon is being affected by bad weather, causing delays and the detour of some flights to other airports, an official ANA source confirmed to Lusa.
“Due to weather conditions, delays are occurring on some flights, with eight flights (arrivals) having been diverted at Lisbon Airport so far,” said an official source from the airport management company, contacted by the Lusa news agency.
From the beginning of the afternoon, flights began to leave late, in some cases for three or more hours, according to the information provided on the airport operator’s website.
As for arrivals, there are cases where flights are being diverted to other airports, mostly to Faro.
These disruptions come at a time of high demand for travel, due to the Easter holidays.
