Since the early afternoon, Bragança and Vila Real are under orange warnings due to persistent and occasionally strong precipitation, which will continue until 6:00 AM on Saturday. This will then be downgraded to a yellow warning until 9:00 AM.
For the same reasons, Aveiro, Coimbra, Viseu, and Leiria remain under orange warnings until 9:00 AM on Saturday, after which they will revert to yellow until noon. The district of Guarda will stay orange until noon on Saturday and then shift to yellow until 3:00 PM.

Due to persistent and occasionally heavy rainfall, Lisbon will again be under a yellow warning between noon and 3:00 PM on Saturday.
In Portalegre, sometimes heavy rainfall, particularly in the northern part of the district, has prompted a yellow warning until 9:00 PM today and another yellow warning for persistent and occasionally heavy rain from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday.
Setúbal remains under a yellow warning for occasionally heavy rain, especially in the northern part of the district, until 9:00 PM today and then again from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday.
The districts of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Braga, Aveiro, Lisbon, Coimbra, and Leiria are also under yellow warnings due to maritime agitation, with waves reaching four meters, considered “significant height,” effective until 9:00 PM today.
IPMA issues red, orange, and yellow warnings when there is a meteorological risk situation, which can range from high to moderate or reduced risk.
