
“The São Miguel PS acknowledges the municipal civil protection services, firefighters, police forces, and other public and volunteer entities for their prompt and dedicated response to emergencies and restoration of normality,” stated a press release.
The Azores Regional Civil Protection and Firefighters Service has updated the count of incidents on São Miguel island to 32, following adverse weather conditions.
Firefighters, municipal civil protection services, and the Public Security Police have been deployed to the sites of the incidents to provide support and resolve various situations.
