The lawyer Elaine Linhares stated that AIMA is committed to “digitizing lawyers’ access” to the organization’s system.
Elaine Linhares was part of a delegation received today by the president of the OA, who mentioned a meeting with AIMA’s president that took place last week.
The aim is to “foster dialogue between the institutions and the lawyers’ order” to address the issues faced by immigrants in Portugal, according to Elaine Linhares.
The matter concerns “foreigners’ rights,” the lawyer explained, adding that the OA president facilitated the dialogue with AIMA for access that “allows the law to be upheld.”
“We want to support AIMA so that the situations currently posing problems and lacking responses can be resolved,” added the lawyer, who is of Brazilian nationality.
