A fire consumed a beach bar at Costa da Caparica in Setúbal on Saturday morning. No injuries have been reported, and the causes of the incident remain unknown.
The alert was raised at 7:30 a.m., as confirmed by the Sub-regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of the Setúbal Peninsula. The bar involved, which was “completely engulfed by flames,” is located on Praia do Rei and is known as the Salty Club.

The incident, whose causes are yet to be determined, mobilized around 26 operatives and involved 10 vehicles.
Although the situation is now under control, emergency services, authorities, and Maritime Police personnel remained on-site as of 10:50 a.m.
