” and that the entity acting through the Facebook social network profile accessible at https://www.facebook.com/mariabraga.financia” are not covered by the central bank.

In the case of the alleged entity operating on the https://www.schelhammercapitalag.com/ portal, the central bank also “draws attention to the fact that it should not be confused with any other similar denomination”.
The Central Bank points out that the activities of granting credit and intermediation and advice on credit agreements “are reserved for entities authorized to carry out these activities”.
The banking supervisor reiterated that the granting of credit is reserved for entities authorized to do so, noting that the list of entities authorized to grant credit, act as credit intermediaries and provide advisory services, can be consulted on the BdP website.
The Bank of Portugal also said it had become aware of fraudulent schemes to misuse the names of authorized entities.
