“The Bank of Portugal warns that the entity operating through the website accessible at https://portufincialaid.com/ and the Telegram account ‘Paola Margarida Pereira Rocha’ is not authorized to conduct credit granting activities or any other financial activities reserved for institutions under the supervision of the Bank of Portugal,” the regulator stated in a public alert.
The activity of granting credit, as outlined in paragraph b) of Article 4 in the General Regime of Credit Institutions and Financial Companies, approved by Decree-Law No. 298/92, dated December 31st, is reserved for entities legally authorized for this purpose, as stipulated in Article 10 of the aforementioned legal regime.
