The Bank of Portugal announced today that the entity operating via the website “https://servicodeemprestimoeu.jimdofree.com/” is not authorized to conduct credit granting activities or any other financial activities reserved for institutions under the supervision of the Bank of Portugal within Portugal.
The activity of credit granting, as outlined in clause b) of paragraph 1 of article 4 of the General Regime for Credit Institutions and Financial Companies, approved by Decree-Law No. 298/92 of December 31, is reserved for entities legally authorized for such purposes, as stipulated in article 10 of the aforementioned legal regime.
The list of entities authorized to grant credit can be accessed on the Bank of Portugal’s website at “www.bportugal.pt“.
