“We are familiar with other preventive wars, based on invented threats. The plan by Trump and Netanyahu to dominate the Middle East is illegal and will have terrible consequences for the world,” reads a post by the sole deputy on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter.
This stance by the Left Bloc comes after U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on Saturday that the United States Armed Forces attacked three nuclear centers in Iran, engaging in Israel’s war against that country.
According to the Left Bloc, Portugal should condemn the U.S. and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan “and prevent the use of American bases on national soil.”
