BeLiving in Faro: 60% of the houses are for young people up to the age of 35

BeLiving in Faro: 60% of the houses are for young people up to the age of 35

The project is financed by Santander and allows the purchase of affordable housing.

The first controlled-cost housing project promoted by a private entity has been born in Faro. It’s called BeLiving, GFH’s brand for this condominium, which was financed by Santander. The houses are ready to move into and 60% of the residents will be young people up to the age of 35.

“The project makes it possible to buy houses at a lower price than the market value and is aimed at a segment of the middle/lower class population that would otherwise have difficulty accessing their own home. 60% of the houses will be for young people up to the age of 35 and 20% for people with disabilities,” reads the bank’s statement to the press.

The development includes 90 one, two and three bedroom apartments, ranging in price from 140 to 230 thousand euros. All the apartments have already been allocated and are ready to move into, “with strong demand, with around 1,000 requests”.

This is the first project of its kind in Portugal by GFH’s BeLiving brand, but there are plans to build nine more condominiums in the Algarve and in the Lisbon and Porto metropolitan areas, with a total of more than 1,000 apartments

“The buildings are built for maximum durability, with high quality interior spaces, whether in terms of thermal comfort and natural ventilation, or through the use of less toxic and more environmentally friendly materials. They have a minimalist design, to make the residents’ experience more comfortable,” reads the document.
