The Biffy Clyro will perform in Portugal next year. The Sagres Campo Pequeno is the chosen venue to host the band’s performance as part of the ‘The Futique Tour’.
The British rock band will arrive in the country on February 5, following the release of their third album ‘Futique’, which is scheduled to be released in September.
‘Futique’ has already seen the release of its latest single, ‘A Little Love’, which debuted as the Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio One.
The band is coming to the country after highly acclaimed headline performances at this year’s TRNSMT Festival and on the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival.
Throughout their career, Biffy Clyro has accumulated numerous awards, including four NME Awards for Best British Band, Best Live Band, and Best Music Video, five Kerrang! Awards for Best British Band, Classic Songwriters, Best Album, and Best Video, and two Q Awards for Best Live Band and Best Album. They have also been nominated for three BRIT Awards (all in the Best British Group category, most recently in 2021) and for the Mercury Prize.
It should be noted that Biffy Clyro has performed in Portugal three times before. The first time was in July 2010 at the Alive festival, followed by another performance in 2016 at the same festival, at Passeio Marítimo de Algés. The following year, they took the stage at Coliseu dos Recreios on January 27, as part of the ‘Ellipsis European Winter’ tour.
Tickets for the concert will be on sale starting July 31 at 10 a.m.
