The 15th edition of the Marés Vivas festival, taking place since Friday in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the district of Porto, ends today with the performances of the headliners Black Eyed Peas and The Script.
The American band Black Eyed Peas, who performed last year in Lisbon, is today in the North to present their latest album “Elevation”, from which came the `single’ “Don’t You Worry”.
After also performing in Lisbon in November, The Script now take the main stage at MEO Marés Vivas, following the death of guitarist Mark Sheehan, and founder of the Irish rock band, in April.
The performances on this stage are completed by Portuguese Fernando Daniel and Australian Xavier Rudd.
The poster also includes performances by DJ Oder, Kappa Jotta, Irma, Miguel Dinis, Fernando Rocha, Joel Ricardo Santos, Gonçalo Novo, Michelle Cascais and Orquestra Bamba Social.
On the main stage, the first concerts start at 18:30 and the last at 23:30.
During the days of the festival, the Sociedade de Transportes Coletivos do Porto (STCP) reinforces line 906 (Trindade – Madalena) with trips every 15 minutes, from Trindade, in Porto.
In addition to the increase in frequency, the timetable for this line has been extended to 03:00.
