A body, “presumably female,” was discovered on Tuesday afternoon in the trunk of a vehicle in Costa da Caparica.
The National Republican Guard (GNR) of the Setúbal Territorial Command confirmed the information, stating they received the alert “around 6:00 PM via 112” and proceeded to the site.
“Upon confirming the presence of a body, presumably female, the Judicial Police were contacted – who are now in charge of the investigation – and the health officer confirmed the death at the scene,” added the same source.
The source further mentioned that, according to the latest information available, the body is being taken to the medical-legal office.
The report reveals that the victim is believed to be around 50 years old.
