The body of the 18-year-old who went missing at the Lagoa do Falcão water park near Torres Vedras has been found, a source from the Oeste Regional Command of Civil Protection confirmed.
The source reported that the body was located at 5:25 p.m., confirming the discovery of the deceased.
“The young man was found already deceased and will be sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Torres Vedras for autopsy,” said Hugo Jorge, the commander of the Torres Vedras Fire Department, to the Lusa agency.
Divers and firefighters from Torres Vedras are at the scene.
The young man had been missing at the Lagoa do Falcão water park since 3:35 p.m.

Commander Leandro Bernardino, responsible for the operations room at the Oeste Sub-command, stated to the Lusa agency, “The boy was part of a group from the Casa Pia of Lisbon that is in the park and disappeared in the water.”
The Mobile Psychological Intervention Unit of the National Institute of Medical Emergency was requested.
