The festival announced on its Facebook page, in a letter addressed to the ‘boomer’ community, that the next edition, marking 30 years of cosmic psychedelic dance, will take place at Herdade da Granja, on the banks of the Marechal Carmona Dam in Idanha-a-Nova, from July 18 to 25, 2027.
Before this 16th edition of the festival, as the Boom Festival organization informed the Lusa agency, the ‘Being Gathering’ will be held at ‘Boomland’ from July 1 to July 5, 2026.
Tickets for this “mini Boom,” held between two editions of the Boom Festival, will be available to the public shortly.
Its first edition took place at the summer solstice of 2015, initially named ‘Be-In Gathering’.
This was a pioneering event for the development of the conscious festival movement, and its second edition occurred in 2017.
In 2021, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization hosted a smaller version called ‘Being Camp’.
Finally, last year, the ‘Being Gathering’ was again held at Herdade da Granja, in Idanha-a-Nova, reclaiming its original “splendor”.
For the upcoming summer, the ‘Being Gathering’ returns to ‘Boomland’ with a program that includes activities for all generations, ranging from healing to wellness practices, sustainability, and music workshops.
