North Sea crude, a benchmark in Europe, saw its price rise by 88 cents at the Intercontinental Exchange, closing higher than its previous level of $64.53 recorded on Thursday.
With this increase, Brent crude regained part of the significant losses experienced on Thursday, when prices fell as much as three percent, eventually closing the session down by 2.36%.
This upturn concluded a week marked by substantial fluctuations in crude prices, influenced by geopolitical developments in key producing countries and discussions surrounding a potential agreement between the U.S. and Iran on the nuclear front.
