The storm on the night of September 27 interrupted performances on the main stage. Despite the technical teams’ efforts, who tested various solutions, weather conditions, including gusts of wind and brief periods of heavy rain, could compromise the safety of musicians, technicians, and the public, according to the organizers’ statement.
The organizer highlights that the decision was made in conjunction with Civil Protection and that, despite being due to force majeure, it was possible to reschedule the performances.
Thus, on October 31 at the Coliseu dos Recreios, the concerts of Alexandra, Marco Rodrigues, and “Em Casa D’Amália ao Vivo” with all their guests, including Maria da Fé, Ana Moura, António Zambujo, Camané, and Jorge Fernando, will take place, as stated in an Instagram post.
The statement, released Monday evening by Música no Coração, indicated that those who purchased tickets for September 27 and passes for September 26 and 27 will have access to the Coliseu dos Recreios. The organization urges those who do not have their tickets to contact the promoter.
Those unable to attend on October 31 will be refunded, provided they present their ticket and/or proof of purchase within 14 days from September 27.
On social media, criticism accumulates, targeting the organization for not securing outdoor shows, considering previous weather warnings.
