Carlsberg’s profits fall 4.7% in the first half to 477.3 million

Nonetheless, during the same period, the company’s revenue rose by 18.2%, totaling 45.855 million crowns (6.144 million euros), while the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached 9.700 million crowns (1.300 million euros), marking an increase of 15.9%.

The group’s revenues in Western Europe amounted to 25.446 million crowns (3.409 million euros), reflecting a 34.9% increase.

In Asia, Carsberg generated revenues of 11.208 million crowns (1.502 million euros) and in Central and Eastern Europe and India 9.194 million crowns (1.232 million euros), representing a decrease of 4.1% and an increase of 11.4%, respectively.

“The group achieved solid results in a challenging half-year, with good market share development in the three regions, especially in Western Europe, driven by strong performances of premium beers, non-alcoholic beers, and soft drinks,” explained Carlsberg’s CEO, Jacob Aarup-Andersen, as reported by Europa Press.

For 2025, the company indicated that operating profit would increase between 3% and 5%.
