Four international authors known for their distinct approaches to poetry are scheduled to participate. These authors are Katerina Iliopoulou from Greece, Najwan Darwish from Palestine, Slobodan Ivanovic from Montenegro, and Stella Nyanzi from Uganda.
“For some of these poets, this will be their first time in Portugal, with exclusive translations prepared for the festival”, the statement adds.
Over the course of three days, discussions and readings centered on poetry will be held. On Saturday, the 18th, a concert by Manuela Azevedo and Hélder Gonçalves of Clã will take place.
“Lisbon Revisited – Dias de Poesia offers an opportunity to meet and listen to poets from different countries and realities. It allows audiences to share stories, discuss writing, and listen to their poems. It’s a moment of connection, exchange, and closeness through poetry,” emphasizes Casa Fernando Pessoa.
Tickets for the sessions with the poets are now available at Casa Fernando Pessoa’s box office and online at bol.pt.
