Cascais hosts the Coala Festival again in May. Tickets are already on sale.

The Manuel Possolo Hippodrome in Cascais will once again host the Coala Festival Portugal on May 30 and 31, 2026. Early Bird tickets are now available at special prices until December 21.

In a statement, the organizers announced ticket prices at €70 (Pass) and €140 (VIP Pass), calling it “the perfect opportunity to secure presence at one of the most anticipated events of the year, even before the lineup is announced.”

The Coala Festival, which aims to “broaden horizons and enhance music in the Portuguese language,” made its Portuguese debut in 2024, coinciding with its 10th anniversary celebration in Brazil.

“This year, the festival will take place on the last weekend of May, a choice that reinforces its consolidation in the European calendar, occupying a strategic period for both local and international audiences,” the organizers noted.

The first two editions held in Portugal attracted around 40,000 people and featured prominent figures from Brazilian culture such as Gilberto Gil, Jorge Ben, Ney Matogrosso, BK’, Liniker, Timbalada + Afrocidade, and Xande de Pilares.

There were also performances by Portuguese artists, including Carminho, Rita Vian, António Zambujo, and Ana Lua Caiano. Representing the third facet of the Portuguese language, the Coala Festival also hosted African artists like Djodje, Pongo, and Mayra Andrade.

Tickets are available on the official sales platform Fever
