The Lisbon Public Security Police (PSP) arrested a 29-year-old man on Thursday around 5 p.m. for drug trafficking in the Santa Maria Maior parish.
Upon noticing the officers’ presence, the suspect “attempted to evade” but was ultimately “intercepted and searched.”
During the search, officers confiscated 100 individual doses of marijuana, 94 doses of hashish, 72 ecstasy tablets, and 131 euros in cash.
The young man was detained at the headquarters of the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (COMETLIS) but has since appeared in court, which ruled that he will be subject to daily reporting to authorities and prohibited from entering the Martim Moniz area.
