
Pedro Morais Soares stated, following a meeting of the party’s National Council held this evening at its headquarters in Largo Adelino Amaro da Costa, Lisbon, that the party “already has a total of 157 coalitions, most of them with the PSD, and the goal is to grow in these local elections and have more councilors.”
The purpose of today’s National Council meeting was to present, discuss, and vote on coalition agreements for the municipal elections on October 12, 2025, with three of them to be further evaluated with the local committees.
Of the eight coalitions approved today, Pedro Morais Soares highlighted those in Mértola, Moimenta da Beira, and Amadora.
