November brings “some price drops in various telecommunications tariffs”. This analysis comes from DECO PROteste, which reveals the cheapest tariffs this month.
“November starts with some changes in the prices of telecommunications tariffs. A year after Digi entered the Portuguese market, the low-cost brands Uzo, Woo, and Amigo now have tariffs nearly at the same price as the Romanian competitor,” reads the consumer protection organization’s website.
DECO PROteste offers this advice: “Before subscribing to a new telecommunications package, start by comparing all available options in the market to choose the one that best suits your needs“.
Cheapest fixed internet and mobile internet tariff
- Fixed internet tariffs
“If you haven’t used the TV box for months and prefer to dive into streaming platforms’ catalogs like Netflix or Amazon Prime, or play games on your computer late into the night, a tariff with only fixed internet may be sufficient. The major telecommunications operators MEO, NOS, and Vodafone remain the most expensive, even though their tariff prices have fallen with Digi’s arrival. With Digi, you can get the same internet speed for 10 euros, and consumers are only obliged to maintain the contract with the company for three months. In the other low-cost options, Uzo, Woo, and Amigo, this service costs 15 euros per month. LigaT, a regional operator present in areas like Montijo, Malveira, Torres Vedras, and Caldas da Rainha, costs as much as the offers from other low-cost brands and requires no commitment,” explains DECO PROteste.
- Mobile internet tariffs
“If, on the other hand, you only need a mobile internet tariff, it is now possible to have at least 100 GB of traffic per month for prices ranging from 5 to 10 euros. In November, MEO, NOS, and Vodafone reduced their mobile internet tariff prices to 10 euros and are now closer to Digi’s prices. Lyca Mobile has also entered the low-price race, offering a tariff just 1 euro more expensive than other low-cost options but with unlimited SMS and call minutes,” the consumer protection organization’s website states.
Cheapest television, fixed internet, and mobile internet tariff
- Television, fixed internet, and mobile internet tariffs with 1 card
“For a package with television, fixed internet, and mobile internet with a mobile data card with at least 100 GB of traffic, in November, low-cost brands have prices ranging from 24 to 32 euros. Recently purchased by Digi, NOWO has stopped its previous mobile internet offering and now provides a tariff equivalent to Digi’s, allowing them to lower the price, improve the mobile data allowance, and reduce the commitment period from 24 months to three months. However, the number of SMS is now only 1000 per month. As in Digi’s offer, in NOWO’s new offer, SMS sent to networks other than Digi’s cost 1 cent. MEO, NOS, and Vodafone remain the most expensive,” explains DECO PROteste.
- Television, fixed internet, and mobile internet tariffs with 2 cards
“As with the offers of television, fixed internet, and mobile internet with just one card, the package with two 100 GB traffic cards is cheapest from low-cost operators, although it still has some disadvantages. This is the case with Digi, which has very limited 5G coverage, despite offering the cheapest package at 29 euros,” the consumer protection organization’s website notes.

- Television and fixed internet tariffs
“In packages with fixed internet and television service, with a download speed of at least 200 Mbps, at least 50 included channels, and fiber optics, Digi’s prices remain the cheapest. In November, MEO increased its monthly fee for these packages to 45 euros. Vodafone, on the other hand, lowered the price of this tariff to 38.50 euros. Among low-cost options, Uzo and Amigo now offer television and fixed internet packages at 22 euros per month,” reports DECO PROteste.
