
The Board of Directors has been elected through a unanimous written resolution by the Portuguese State, as the sole shareholder, and by a decision of the European Central Bank regarding the assessment of its suitability for office.
The Board of Directors of CGD for the 2025-2028 term will retain António Farinha Morais as Chairman and Paulo Macedo as Vice-Chairman and CEO.
Francisco Ravara Cary will also continue as a member and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee, while António Alberto Henriques Assis serves as a non-executive member and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
New additions to the executive members include Ana Maria Leça Rodrigues de Sousa Carvalho, António José Alves Valente, Bárbara Miranda Dinis Costa Pinto, and Luís Maria França de Castro Pereira Coutinho.
Among the non-executive members and members of the Audit Committee, Eduardo Stock da Cunha, Luísa Marta Santos Soares da Silva Amaro de Matos will now be included.
João Moreira Rato will join the non-executive members as well.
According to CGD, the term of office for the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee members takes effect from July 19, 2025, except for the non-executive member and Audit Committee member José António da Silva de Brito, whose term becomes effective 30 days later.
