“The company Impresa — Sociedade Gestora de Participações Sociais, S.A. (“Impresa”) in accordance with article 6 of CMVM Regulation No. 1/2023 and article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and Council, announces that Board Member and President of the Audit Committee Manuel Guilherme Oliveira da Costa has resigned from his positions within Impresa,” stated a communication sent to the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM).
The statement does not specify the reason for the resignation.
Impresa’s Board of Administration, which is chaired by Francisco Balsemão, owns the television station SIC and the newspaper Expresso, among other media outlets.
