The Lisbon City Council will hand over the keys to 152 affordable housing units on Monday at Lot 7 of the Armed Forces – Entrecampos development, representing an investment of 21 million euros, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
The new building, located at Rua Sanches Coelho and promoted by Lisbon SRU, consists of three continuous blocks – A, B, and C. It offers housing units ranging from T0 to T4 in eight of the ten floors, providing 152 units, with the ground floor designated for access and support spaces, including bicycle parking, laundry, multipurpose room, and technical areas.
A daycare center with independent access is planned for the ground floor of block 7C, while the basement level will be used for commercial purposes, with plans for installing a supermarket. This is the last of five buildings allocated to the Affordable Rent Program (PRA) within the Armed Forces development, totalling 476 units and a global investment exceeding 70 million euros.
The mayor, Carlos Moedas (PSD), delivered the 3,000th municipal housing unit today, in a building located in the parish of Marvila, comprising 105 new units ranging from T0 to T4. The project represents a total investment exceeding 19 million euros, funded by the PRR. Moedas described them as “dignified homes with affordable rents.”
