Between April 30 and May 7, the largest percentage price increases were observed in products such as frankfurter sausages (up by 13%), spiral pasta (up by 13%), gala apples (up by 12%), and fiber cereal (up by 11%), according to the weekly analysis by DECO PROTeste.
However, “if we compare this week’s prices with those from the first week of 2025, the largest percentage price increases are found in eggs (up by 28%), spiral pasta (up by 27%), and cereal flakes (up by 20%).”
It is noteworthy that the price of the food basket containing 63 essential items monitored by DECO PROTeste saw a decrease of 46 cents (down by 0.19%) in the past week, now costing 238.95 euros.
