The date for the second phase of the program, aimed at energy efficiency in buildings, was previously announced by Minister of Environment and Energy, Maria da Graça Carvalho, during a parliamentary hearing on November 4.
In a statement, the Ministry of Environment highlights that the new phase of the E-lar program has 60.8 million euros available, more than double that of the first edition.
Do you know how much you can receive?
The consumer protection organization reminds that support for exchanging gas ovens, stoves, water heaters, or gas boilers for electrical equipment of class A or higher is provided through a voucher worth:
- 1,683 euros for vulnerable families with a social energy tariff;
- 1,100 euros for consumers who have an electricity supply contract;
For families with a social energy tariff, the maximum amounts that can be spent per equipment are:
- 369 euros for an induction electric hob;
- 179.60 euros for a conventional electric hob;
- 738 euros for an electric hob and oven set;
- 369 euros for an electric oven;
- 615 euros for an electric water heater.
“These amounts include VAT at the legal rate in force. For these consumers, the voucher also provides a support of 50 euros for transport, 100 euros for the installation of hobs, ovens, or sets of hobs and ovens, and 180 euros for the installation of the electric water heater,” explains DECO PROteste.
On the other hand, for other consumers, the maximum amounts to be spent per equipment are:
- 300 euros for an induction electric hob;
- 146 euros for a conventional electric hob;
- 600 euros for an electric hob and oven set;
- 300 euros for an electric oven;
- 500 euros for an electric water heater.
It’s important to note that “for these consumers, the voucher does not include the payment of VAT on the equipment, nor the payment for the transport or installation of the appliances, which must be covered by the consumer themselves.”
