“I have always maintained in politics that the fundamental thing is to solve people’s problems. It is not Chega that will now prevent or create obstacles to things that need to be resolved now,” stated André Ventura.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a local festivity in Lisbon, the Chega leader emphasized the role of parliament in ensuring that the laws enacted are of quality and effectiveness.
“And that is what we will seek to do in this legislative process, not to be an obstacle, but to ensure that we can go even further, be more effective, ensure that those who need to enter, enter, and those who do not, do not,” he remarked.
