
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 0.7% in February, followed by a 0.1% decline in the subsequent month.
This indicator, released by the National Bureau of Statistics of the Asian country, aligns with analysts’ forecasts, who anticipated the previous month’s contraction would recur in April.
The Producer Price Index (PPI), which tracks industrial prices, experienced a further decline from 2.5% in March to 2.7% in the fourth month of the year.
