The Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) has filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP) against a digital content creator following statements that “gravely disrespect women’s rights and spread misinformation about abortion.”
Identified as Numeiro, the individual recently expressed opposition to abortion, sharing statements such as: “You [women] are just s**** who want to f*** without consequence. Abortion is not a contraceptive.”
The comments were made on social media at the end of May, although the content creator had previously stirred controversy in April with the claim that “a woman who dates doesn’t go out at night.”

Images shared by a YouTuber have sparked outrage among celebrities, even prompting exchanges of barbs. This is currently the ‘Topic of the Week’.

On Facebook, the CIG, without naming the individual, stated that it “expresses its deep concern and repulsion towards the statements recently disseminated by a digital content creator, which gravely disrespect women’s rights and spread misinformation about abortion.”
The CIG, a state organization, further stated that “in recent days, it has received over a hundred complaints from citizens outraged by these statements,” subsequently filing the complaint with the MP and “other competent entities, for actions that may potentially constitute hate speech and possibly incitement to hate against women, with the goal of determining potential legal responsibilities.”
“We call on everyone to unite in rejecting discourse that attacks women’s dignity and democratic values,” they concluded.
