Circulation on the Blue Line of the Lisbon metro is “disrupted”

Traffic on the Lisbon Metro’s Blue Line is “disrupted” this Friday morning.

“Blue Line: there are traffic disruptions,” the company said in a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter), adding that “waiting times may be longer than normal”.

In this sense, Metropolitano de Lisboa thanks passengers for their “understanding” in the face of this situation.

At issue is an alert, given at around 6.38 a.m., for a “signaling malfunction” on the Blue Line, which has interrupted circulation “between Reboleira and Amadora Este stations”.

“At the moment, it is not possible to predict the duration of the disruption, which could be extended. Metro is making every effort to resume traffic as soon as possible,” it said.
