During a briefing at the headquarters of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) in Carnaxide (Oeiras) at 7 p.m., Silvestre highlighted 14 ongoing incidents, 10 of which were of significant concern in regions including Beiras and Serra da Estrela, Viseu, Dão-Lafões, Arganil, Cinfães, Lousã, Portalegre, Guarda, Freixo de Espada à Cinta, Sabugal, and Figueiró dos Vinhos.
These fires involved the mobilization of 3,023 personnel, 1,000 vehicles, and 26 aerial resources.
