In a statement, the Local Health Unit (ULS) announced that the request was accepted and “referred for higher consideration”.
Until a new Clinical Director is appointed, “all matters related to that area should be coordinated with the Clinical Director for Primary Health Care, Aldara Braga”.
The assistants to the Clinical Directorate for Hospital Health Care will remain in their positions.
Meanwhile, Paula Felgueiras has been appointed Director of the Internal Medicine Service at the Barcelos/Esposende Local Health Unit, according to an order published today in the Official Gazette.
“In this regard, the Board of Directors expresses its gratitude for the contributions made to ULS Braga and wishes her success in her new role,” concluded the statement.
