A collision this morning between a garbage truck and a scooter resulted in one person being seriously injured in Figueira da Foz, as reported by the volunteer firefighters of the municipality in the Coimbra district.
The injured individual, who was on the scooter, was transported to the University Hospital of Coimbra.
According to the Civil Protection’s webpage, the alert for the incident was received at 07:10, mobilizing six operatives and three ground units.
