
Two individuals sustained minor injuries following a collision between the cars they were in on Avenida Marginal, Oeiras. The severe crash occurred in the Cascais-Lisbon direction around 4:30 PM, and approximately an hour later, it still caused significant traffic congestion.
The commander of the Santo Amaro Volunteer Firefighters explained that traffic is only proceeding through the rightmost lane, as the remaining space is blocked off.
This accident unfolded in several stages. Initially, the vehicles collided, then one car hit the divider on the shoulder, causing a part of the structure to fall onto the embankment, leading to the area being sealed off.
Images of the damaged vehicles reveal the severity of the crash, with one car overturned and the other mounting the sidewalk.

The Oeiras Volunteer Firefighters were dispatched to the area. Efforts to contact the fire department for more information on possible victims are ongoing.
