A violent road collision on the IC8 in Pedrógão Grande on Monday resulted in one fatality and three injuries, two of which are in serious condition, as confirmed by sources from the Civil Protection.
The accident, involving two light vehicles, occurred near the Cabril bridge.
The alert was raised at 12:20 p.m.
Responding to the incident are the Sertã Volunteer Firefighters, Pedrógão Grande Volunteer Firefighters, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), the National Republican Guard (GNR), and the municipal Civil Protection coordinator. A total of 29 personnel are on the scene, supported by 12 vehicles.
