The asphalt bitumen transport vessel Ping Hai Wan, flying the Panama flag, was en route to Tarragona, Spain.
The collision occurred late this afternoon near the 25 de Abril Bridge, resulting in damage to the ship. However, there is no risk of pollution, a source from the AMN stated.
The vessel proceeded to dock at the Cais Rocha Conde de Óbidos in Lisbon.
According to the same source, no injuries were reported in the incident.
