Five individuals, including three children, sustained minor injuries today following a collision between a light commercial vehicle and a bus in Portalegre, according to a fire department source.
A source from the Sub-Regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection of Alto Alentejo reported that the incident occurred on National Road (EN) 246 in the rural parish of Urra, in the municipality of Portalegre, with the alert given at 3:32 PM.
The five minor injured, aged 51, 22, 14, 2, and 1, were transported to Portalegre hospital. Additionally, three people were assisted at the scene, aged 55 and two aged 70.
The rescue operations involved 17 personnel, including PSP officers, supported by six vehicles.
