The Parliament approved the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee into INEM on Friday.
Various party positions were expressed during the debate on the liberal bench’s proposal, which aims to establish a parliamentary inquiry committee (CPI) to investigate the political, technical, contractual, legal, and financial responsibilities related to the Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica (INEM) in recent years.
The necessity for an inquiry committee into INEM united several parties in parliament today, with the PSD bench considering its creation premature, yet not opposing the proposal presented by the Liberal Initiative.
