The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, José Manuel Fernandes, took to social media to mark the first year of Luís Montenegro’s administration, highlighting the “commitment, action, and results.”
“We have been, from the first minute – and will be until the last – focused on the essential: responding to the challenges of the people with responsibility, commitment, and action,” he wrote on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
He continued: “Commitment, action, and results. Always alongside farmers, fishermen, and forest producers, promoting a more competitive, sustainable, and cohesive sector.”
It should be recalled that on Wednesday, Prime Minister Luís Montenegro marked one year of governance at the Bolhão Market in Porto, where the Council of Ministers was held.

The situation was criticized by the Opposition, which labeled the actions as an electoral campaign.
