At approximately 12:15 PM, there were “constraints at border checkpoints due to a temporary malfunction in the Rapid Kiosks, leading to the gathering of people at the location,” according to the official information provided by the PSP.
These kiosks facilitate electronic passport control.
An official from ANA — Aeroportos de Portugal stated that waiting times were longer than usual for flights originating outside the Schengen area due to “a technical intervention in the computer systems.”
According to the PSP, some checkpoints were later reactivated, allowing “the normal flow of people who were waiting there.”
The PSP reported no incidents.
