The Consulate-General of Portugal in Luanda issued a warning today regarding the current security situation in the Angolan capital, advising caution and the avoidance of unnecessary travel in light of disturbances occurring in various parts of Luanda.
“The current security situation in Luanda is being closely monitored and followed by the diplomatic representation of Portugal in Angola, in contact with the competent Angolan authorities and with EU partners,” the statement read on the consulate’s official page.
