The Attorney General, Amadeu Guerra, announced on Tuesday, December 9, that all the documents requested from former Prime Minister António Costa as part of Operation Influencer have been delivered, although their submission was delayed.
During an informal awareness session held with the school community in Portela, Lisbon, where he was present, Amadeu Guerra noted, “It took some time to receive the documents” from the current President of the European Council.
“The judicial holidays intervened, but that is no excuse. I have always wanted a swift decision. However, there are many volumes and a lot of evidence being analyzed. Therefore, we hope to have a resolution soon,” he emphasized, expressing hope for developments before the year’s end.
