A cow managed to escape from its herd on Friday and wander onto the highway in Guimarães, located in the district of Braga, temporarily affecting traffic, which has since returned to normal.
Images of the animal on Highway 11, seen above, were shared on social media, alongside the moment it returned to the wild.
“It jumped the fence and returned the same way,” explained a source from the National Republican Guard (GNR).
The same source confirmed to Notícias ao Minuto that, in addition to the traffic returning to normal, there were no injuries or accidents reported due to the animal’s appearance on the road.
