
Anticipating significant disruptions in train services on April 28, 2025, due to a strike called by the SFRCI union, CP indicated that the impact would also be felt on the preceding and following days.
The rail operator mentioned the possibility of updating this information should minimum service levels be established.
CP advised customers with tickets for Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacional, InterRegional, and Regional trains that they could receive a full refund or exchange their tickets at no additional cost for another train of the same category and class.
This refund or exchange can be processed online up to 15 minutes before the train’s departure from the customer’s original station, or at ticket counters.
Beyond this timeframe, up to 10 days after the strike concludes, a refund can be requested by completing the online contact form labeled ‘Reembolso por atraso ou supressão,’ with a digital copy of the ticket attached.
