“The merger operation involves the acquisition by CUF – Sociedade Gestora de Participações of exclusive control over Hospital Particular do Algarve (HPA),” according to information released today by the Competition Authority.
The private group HPA operates hospitals and clinics in the Algarve, Alentejo, and Madeira regions.
The entities within this group provide medical services, diagnostic support, and pathological anatomy services.
Any comments regarding this operation can be submitted to the Competition Authority within 10 business days.
